Guys who are looking into penis enlargement will likely first start to get into penis pills. Once they discover that penis pills are mostly bunk and at best probably only give temporary size gains, they will look elsewhere.
Usually, it is penis pumps which becomes the second form of enlargement that guys investigate. This will sound interesting, but the idea of pumping up your penis is also a turn-off for many guys.
Finally, penis jelqing will surface as a way for enlargement. This approach will likely seem the most attractive as it is all about hand exercises and doesn't involve the primary use of pills or pumps.
When guys look into jelqing, they quickly realize that 4 or 5 days of exercising is required during the week, and results will take several weeks. Some guys will then go back to looking into pumps as the idea of simply putting your penis in a tube and pumping begins to sound a little easier than manually exercising with your hands.
But then, of course, guys will see the cost of good water-based pumps and they then will feel that buying a straightforward jelqing program would be cheaper and less risky as far as side effects go.
So for many guys, it comes down to jelqing versus pumping. Which one should you try first?
A good approach is the following:
- Give jelqing a try first. So many guys have reported making decent gains off of jelqing routines. It tends to be considered "more legit" than pumping. And potential side effects are much less.
- Get on a good jelqing program. Just because you are jelqing doesn't mean you are gaining. You really have to get on a good routine so you do the proper sets and reps while making sure your hand position is right and you are employing warm-ups, cool-downs, and additional manual stretching techniques.
- Be patient and persistent. If you try jelqing first you need to give it time to work, and you need to be persistent in regards to doing the exercise. You can't do 5 days one week and then 1 day the next week, a few days the following, and so forth. You have to stick with the required number of days per week.
- See where you are at as far as jelqing results go after several weeks. Many guys will look at their progress over several weeks and decide if they want to go for more size, or perhaps they are satisfied.
Trying pumps after jelqing.
If you really want to try penis pumps, consider doing so after you have given jelqing a good go. But first, you should wait a bit and give your penis a rest before jumping into a whole brand-new form of enlargement.
Pumps may give the illusion that they are working right away. In fact, the results after a pumping session can very well be a larger size. But this is only a temporarily larger size.
So you may find yourself saying "why have I been jelqing all this time when I could have been experiencing size gains from day one with pumping?"
But again, any initial gains are only temporary. For permanent size gain through pumping, it's going to take another several weeks, similar to jelqing.
What about jelqing and pumping at the same time?
This is not advised. Jelqing and pumping at the same time can easily be overkill and can do more damage than good. It's just too much for a beginner starting out. Choose one or the other.
Now if you are advanced, then that's another story. You may be able to manage to do both jelqing and pumping, as you will know your body better and be more experienced with each.
